Roles and Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and guidelines in oncology settings.

- Conduct regular inspections of radiation equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards.

- Develop and implement effective radiation protection programs for patients, staff, and visitors.

- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure proper use of radioactive materials during treatments.

- Provide training and education on radiation safety procedures to hospital personnel.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2-7 years of experience in Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) role or related field.

- Strong knowledge of ICRP, NCRP, AAPM, and other relevant radiation safety standards.

- Experience working in an oncology setting or similar healthcare setting.

- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
