Role & responsibilities

- Conduct inbound quality checks and grading of Fruits & Vegetables at the FnV hub.

- Perform visual inspection of produce and identify/reject sub-standard products.

- Conduct quality audits at J24 stores, including checking shelf life, freshness and display standards.

- Track shrinkage/dump and maintain quality-related records.

- Coordinate with procurement and hub operations teams to identify and address vendor quality issues.

- Maintain quality logs and GRN-level records and escalate quality anomalies.

- Support the development and implementation of SOPs for grading, receiving and freshness standards.

- Conduct regular on-ground/market visits as part of the role.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.Sc. Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture or other relevant agriculture-related qualification.

- Experience: Freshers are welcome; candidates with 13 years of experience in FnV operations,



mandi procurement or food quality inspection will have an advantage.

- Good understanding of Fruits & Vegetables quality, freshness and grading standards.

- Solid attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects in produce.

- Comfortable working in an on-ground, operational environment across distribution hubs and retail stores.

- Basic comfort with maintaining quality records, tracking data and reporting.

- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors, procurement and operations teams.

- Languages: Kannada and English.

- Gender: Male candidates only.

- Willingness to work 6 days a week, including night shifts, and travel for market visits.

- Energetic, self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
