Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods, and packaging materials.
- Conduct laboratory testing using analytical techniques and instruments such as AIA, oils & fats analysis, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer titration, dissolution testing, and wet chemistry methods.
- Perform testing in accordance with SOPs, GMP, GHP, ISO and HACCP requirements.
- Accurately record test procedures, results, observations, and laboratory data.
- Review and interpret test results and prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
- Identify, report, and investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS) results and atypical events.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
- Assist with analytical method transfer, validation, and qualification.
- Prepare and revise QC SOPs and test methods when required.




- Ensure compliance with GMP and internal quality systems.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.

Candidate Requirements

Education

- M.Sc. (Food Technology) or B.Tech. (Food Technology)

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in a regulated Quality Control or analytical laboratory environment.
- Experience in the food/beverage or biotechnology industry will be preferred.

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience with analytical testing, including volatile extracts, oils, lipids, protein tests, etc.
- Good understanding of GMP/GLP and laboratory safety protocols.
- Knowledge of FSMS, QMS, HACCP and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Quality control certification will be an added advantage.
