Manages the accounts, budgets and financial control activities of the organization

to meet the information needs of management, government and statutory bodies.
Ensures effective accounting procedures are established and followed in order to

meet the financial reporting requirement of the organization.
Plans, directs and supervises the activities of assigned personnel
Co-ordinates the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets and

submits these to management.
Ensures that Accounts and other financial data are available on an accurate,

concise and up-to-date basis.
Monitor the Cash flow

policies.
Manages trains and develops assigned personnel to meet the requirement of the

organization.
Manages Accounts Payable function so that credit terms are utilized.
Controls on Statutory payments.
Supervise the Purchase reconciliation and provisional entries.
Assist in Taxation (I-tax, Sales Tax, etc.) matters. Tax Audit.
Assists in the development and implementation of recent accounting systems,





which are designed to improve the financial reporting of the business.
Will conduct performance evaluations and be responsible for coaching and

counseling.
Participate in discussions of business analysis and strategy planning.
Liaises with external auditors, as required
