To be successful as a Senior Software Engineer, you should have experience with:
Security levels & Access handling, Sharing & Visibility, Data modelling in Salesforce.
OOTB features & configurations of Salesforce, Point & click customisations & automations (Lightning flows, Validation rules, Approval processes, Flexi pages, etc).
Programming in Apex,Aura,LWC (Must have valuable expertise in building, reviewing & maintaining clean high quality (following industry best practices) Apex classes, Apex triggers, Asynchronous apex, Apex test, Custom API, Integration processes, Aura, LWC pages.
Source control tools using Git, Deployments (change-sets, sfdx/sf),



Using org utilities like Developer Console & IDEs like VScode.

Some other highly valued skills may include:
Salesforce Knowledge.
Financial Service Cloud.
Hands on experience in Force.com customization.
Hands-on expertise of salesforce lightening Aura and LWC components.
Very solid skills in Salesforce development technologies including;Advanced Apex (Triggers, Energetic Apex) Advanced Visual force, Javascript.
Integration (both real time and batch) via SOAP, REST and BULK API, Apex Callouts.
Data migration using Apex data loader and other data loading tool.
