Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Safety In-Charge to oversee and manage all safety and HSE activities at the project/site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working setting and compliance with applicable safety standards, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable HSE regulations.
Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training.
Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, hot work, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, and electrical work.
Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and inspection records.
Investigate accidents, incidents,



and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation drills, and first-aid arrangements.
Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and management to resolve safety issues.
Immediately stop unsafe work where there is a reliable risk to workers or property.
Maintain HSE documentation, checklists, registers, and statutory records.
Promote a solid safety culture across the site.

Qualification & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH/IOSH will be an advantage.
Relevant experience in construction, commercial buildings, infrastructure, or facility projects.
Good knowledge of site safety procedures, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
