Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer with experience in interior, modular furniture, woodwork, or furniture manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per project requirements.

- Coordinate with design, purchase, stores, quality, and installation teams.

- Read and understand furniture drawings, BOQs, cutting lists, and production drawings.

- Ensure production is carried out as per approved designs and specifications.

- Monitor cutting, edge banding, drilling, CNC, assembly, finishing, and other manufacturing processes.

- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.

- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

- Minimize material wastage, rework, and production downtime.

- Maintain production reports, daily output records, and other manufacturing documentation.





- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and factory procedures.

- Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors when required.

- Train and guide production workers on process requirements and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Experience in furniture / modular furniture / interior manufacturing / woodworking is preferred.

- Good knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.

- Ability to understand technical and furniture drawings.

- Knowledge of materials such as MDF, plywood, particle board, laminates, veneers, and hardware.

- Exposure to CNC, edge-banding, cutting, drilling, and assembly processes is an advantage.

- Positive problem-solving and coordination skills.

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / furniture design software will be an advantage.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

Qualification

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Candidates with relevant experience in furniture/interior manufacturing may also be considered.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
