Job Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Payments Product Team at Global Payments Solution, HSBC India as a Vice President specialising in the Cross Border space.

We are seeking experienced individuals to join the Payments Product management team at Global Payments Solutions at HSBC India who have experience in the Cross-Border space to develop and commercialise cross border products. The individual should be aware of the regulations governing Cross Border Products in the payments space and can collaborate with key network participants in the payments ecosystem, including Banks, Fintechs, or Regulators, to co-create new and market leading products. Knowledge of SWIFT and various payment mechanisms like Vostro & Nostro will be an added advantage.

Principal Responsibilities

- Driving New Fee Income and current account balances through flows/ volumes for inward and outward remittances.
- Liaising with key legal and compliance teams, external and internal, to ensure all related master circulars/ Directions and FEMA guidelines are being adhered to.
- Creating/ Co creating solutions with key clients in close consultation with the regulator.
- Working with operations and other internal stakeholders to drive inward and outward remittances success rates and improve efficiency.




- Adhering to internal control and risk guidelines from an audit and RBI standpoint.

Role Requirements / Education Qualifications / Certifications / Experience:

- A master’s degree or equivalent from a reputed university.
- Well versed with regulations and data extrapolation leading to business outcomes.
- Certificate Course in Foreign Exchange Operations, preferred FEDAI certification.
- Experience of more than 2 years in the Cross Border space, either in a Bank or FinTech.

Pro-tip : Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
