Playgroup & Nursery Teacher The Tiny Tales Early Learning Studio

We are looking for a warm, creative, and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our team and work with children in the Playgroup and Nursery age groups.

About the Role The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young children and be comfortable creating a play-based, child-led learning workplace inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging circle time sessions including stories, rhymes, conversations, and interactive activities.
- Prepare and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for Playgroup and Nursery.
- Conduct creative art & craft activities and sensory/play-based learning experiences.
- Create simple, attractive learning aids and teaching materials using readily available resources.
- Observe children’s interests, participation, development, and learning.
- Maintain classroom routines and encourage children's independence, communication, and social skills.
- Prepare child observation notes and progress reports.
- Support a warm, respectful, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with the team in planning activities and maintaining classroom documentation.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with Playgroup/Nursery or early-years children.




- Understanding or practical exposure to the Reggio Emilia approach or other play-based learning approaches.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Creative and confident in conducting art, craft, music, stories, and movement activities.
- Ability to create lesson plans, learning aids, and child observation/progress reports.
- Patient, caring, energetic, and comfortable working with young children.
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, ECCE, NTT, or a related field is preferred.
