Job Title: Performance Test Engineer (JMeter, AppDynamics & Datadog)

We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in Apache JMeter to drive performance testing initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and analyzing performance tests while leveraging AppDynamics and Datadog to identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and provide optimization recommendations.

This role requires hands-on experience in JMeter scripting, performance engineering methodologies, APM tools, and database performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
- Develop advanced JMeter scripts using Groovy (JSR223) and BeanShell scripting.
- Create realistic workload models and test scenarios based on production traffic patterns and business requirements.
- Execute Load, Stress, Endurance (Soak), Scalability, and Performance Tests across multiple environments.
- Analyze test results and identify application, infrastructure, and database performance bottlenecks.




- Use AppDynamics and Datadog to monitor application performance and conduct root cause analysis.
- Correlate JMeter performance metrics with APM insights to identify system constraints and optimization opportunities.
- Generate detailed performance reports with findings, observations, and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Database teams to address performance issues.
- Maintain and optimize existing performance testing frameworks, scripts, and test environments.
- Monitor database performance and assist in identifying SQL query and Snowflake-related bottlenecks.
