Job Purpose:

To manage the day-to-day functioning of the Operation Theater, ensuring smooth surgical procedures, patient safety, infection control, and proper utilization of OT resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily OT operations, scheduling, and surgical procedures.
- Ensure OT cleanliness, sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with ophthalmologists, anesthetists, nurses, and OT technicians.
- Maintain OT equipment, instruments, consumables, and emergency stock.
- Ensure proper preparation of patients and OT before every surgery.
- Maintain OT records, checklists, and procedure-related documentation.
- Monitor staff performance, duty allocation, and adherence to SOPs.
- Report equipment issues, stock shortages, and operational concerns to management.
