Garment Merchandiser

Location: Sector 63, Noida

About the Role

We are looking for a Garment Merchandiser with minimum 1 year of experience in garment manufacturing/export to manage buyer coordination and ensure smooth execution of orders from development to final shipment.

The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of garment merchandising, production follow-up, sampling, quality and export documentation, with strong communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with buyers and manage day-to-day buyer communication.
- Handle garment orders from sampling/development through production and shipment.
- Prepare and follow up on order sheets, production timelines and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production, sampling, purchase, stores and quality teams.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories and other materials required for orders.




- Coordinate sample development and ensure samples are completed as per buyer requirements.
- Track production progress and ensure orders are completed within agreed timelines.
- Follow up on quality requirements and buyer comments.
- Coordinate inspections and resolve production/quality issues.
- Maintain order status, T&A; (Time & Action) calendars and merchandising reports.
- Coordinate with logistics and relevant teams for timely shipment.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to orders.
- Proactively communicate any delays, risks or issues to management and buyers.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience in garment merchandising, preferably in export garments.
- Good understanding of garment manufacturing and production processes.
- Knowledge of sampling, fabrics, trims, accessories and garment construction.
- Understanding of export order execution and shipment processes.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with buyers, vendors and internal teams.
