Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving all mechanical machinery and equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted production operations.

Qualification

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance
- Experience in manufacturing / tool room / automation industry will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities1. Preventive Maintenance
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for machines and equipment.
- Follow daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance schedules.
- Inspect machines regularly and identify potential failures.
- Maintain preventive maintenance checklists and records.

1. Breakdown Maintenance

- Attend machine breakdowns immediately and identify root causes.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and restore machines with minimum downtime.
- Carry out repair and replacement of damaged mechanical components.
- Coordinate with production during critical machine breakdowns.

1. Mechanical Equipment Maintenance

- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect and maintain gearboxes, bearings,



couplings, shafts, pumps and mechanical assemblies.
- Check lubrication systems and ensure proper lubrication schedules.
- Carry out machine alignment and leveling wherever required.

1. Machine Installation & Modification

- Support installation, commissioning and shifting of machines.
- Assist in machine modification and improvement activities.
- Ensure proper alignment and functioning after installation or modification.

1. Spare Parts & Maintenance Materials

- Identify required mechanical spare parts.
- Maintain minimum stock levels for critical spares.
- Coordinate with Stores / Purchase for timely availability of spares.
- Maintain records of replaced components.

1. Documentation

- Maintain breakdown maintenance records.
- Update preventive maintenance reports and checklists.
- Record machine downtime and maintenance activities.
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly maintenance reports.

1. Safety & 5S

- Follow all safety procedures during maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper LOTO practices before maintenance work.
- Maintain valuable housekeeping and 5S standards in the maintenance area.
- Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are safely stored.

1. Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Tool Room, Stores and other departments.
- Support production to minimize machine downtime.
- Guide maintenance technicians and helpers during repair activities.

Pay: ₹12,204.01 - ₹25,000.00 per month
