Role Description This is a full time Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Noida with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home flexibility.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will be responsible for developing mechanical concepts and detailed designs for production processes and equipment, from initial requirements through to fabrication-ready documentation. Day-to-day activities include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves supporting prototype build and testing, incorporating feedback into design improvements, and documenting design intent and engineering decisions.



The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist in standardizing design practices and guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for developing practical, scalable solutions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering for performing calculations, material selection, and component design.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailed drafting, and design revisions.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret engineering standards and manufacturing processes, including tolerance analysis and GD&T.;
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in industrial equipment, process design, or materials handling systems is beneficial.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment.
