Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 3–6 years

Qualification: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in automotive product development, including LCD/TFT Instrument Clusters and Infotainment systems. Hands-on proficiency in Creo, Pro E, CATIA, and plastic/sheet metal design is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed 3D models of automotive components (engine, transmission, chassis, body parts) using Creo.
- Build module-level and system-level assemblies in Creo.
- Enhance designs for manufacturability and performance using Creo Behavioral Modeling.
- Develop concept designs based on customer/project requirements.
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for stress, thermal, and energetic analysis.




- Design sheet metal, die-cast, and freeform surface components.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing documentation.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in Creo, Pro E, CATIA
- Strong knowledge of Plastic Component Design
- Product Design & Development (design calculations, DOE, GD&T;, stack-up analysis)
- Experience in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, sheet metal, and die casting
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
