Role Overview / Job Purpose

- Lead end to end BIS and Product Compliance for the Organization product portfolio.

- Ensure applicable products comply with BIS, GoI regulatory requirements, product certification, testing, surveillance and import/warehouse compliance.

- Act as the point of contact for product regulatory matters with internal stakeholders, government authorities, certification bodies and laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end to end BIS compliance and product certification activities.

- Own product registration, testing, certification, BIS marking, renewal and surveillance requirements.

- Drive documentation, testing and final registration for BIS certification.

- Coordinate with BIS authorities, testing laboratories, certification agencies and relevant government departments.

- Manage DPIIT-related certification and compliance requirements.

- Monitor changes in GoI regulations and assess their impact on company products.

- Ensure compliance at warehouse and import level as per applicable GoI rules.

- Maintain product compliance trackers, certificates, test reports and regulatory documentation.





- Manage regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

- Coordinate with business, product, supply chain, service and other internal stakeholders.

- Guide new product launches/configurations from a regulatory compliance perspective.

- Support E-waste and Plastic Waste/EPR compliance wherever applicable.

- Liaise with industry associations and relevant government bodies.

- Identify compliance risks and proactively recommend corrective/preventive actions.

- Representing Organization at various Industry Association (CII/FICCI/MAIT, etc).
