Male Nurse

Position: Male Nurse
Reports To: HR Manager / General Manager / Director
Location: Pragati Resorts, Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time
1. Job Purpose To provide prompt and professional first aid, basic medical care and emergency assistance to resort employees and guests, maintain the resort clinic and medical records, and support workplace health, safety and employee wellness initiatives.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate first aid and basic nursing care to employees and guests during illness, injury or medical emergencies.
- Assess the patient's condition and arrange referral to a hospital/doctor whenever required.
- Attend to workplace injuries, minor accidents, cuts, burns, sprains, fever and other routine medical complaints within the nurse's professional scope.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse and oxygen saturation when appropriate.
- Maintain the resort medical/first-aid room in a clean, hygienic and well-organized condition.
- Check and maintain first-aid boxes across guest and staff areas and ensure required items are replenished.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines, first-aid materials, medical equipment and other clinic supplies.
- Maintain daily consultation records, accident/injury reports, treatment records and monthly medical reports with strict confidentiality.
- Coordinate with nearby hospitals, ambulance services and doctors during serious medical emergencies.
- Assist in arranging hospital admission or transportation for employees/guests when necessary.
- Support employee health check-ups, wellness programmes and health-awareness activities.
- Monitor employee sick cases and maintain appropriate medical documentation.
- Support food-handler health screening and hygiene-related requirements as directed by management.
- Conduct basic health and hygiene awareness sessions for employees.
- Assist HR and management in maintaining occupational health and safety standards.
- Participate in emergency preparedness,
first-aid and basic CPR/AED awareness programmes, where qualified.
- Ensure medicines and medical equipment are properly stored and expiry dates are regularly checked.
- Report accidents, injuries and significant health-related incidents promptly to HR/management.
- Maintain complete confidentiality of employee and guest medical information.
- Follow all resort policies, safety procedures and applicable skilled nursing requirements.
- Perform any other reasonable medical/health-related duties assigned by the HR Manager or Resort Doctor.
3. Qualification
- GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) / B.Sc Nursing preferred.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Nursing Council.
- Valid First Aid/BLS/CPR certification will be an added advantage.
4. Experience
- 35 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in a hotel, resort, hospital, occupational health clinic or industrial medical facility will be an advantage.
- Candidates with emergency-care and first-aid experience are preferred.

- Basic computer knowledge.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and attend emergencies as per resort requirements.

Note: The nurse should provide care within the limits of professional qualification, registration, and escalate cases requiring a doctor or hospital.
