- Package, repackage, and customize applications using industry-standard formats: MSI, MST transforms, MSIX, App-V, and Intune Win32 (.intunewin).

- Author and maintain silent/unattended installation scripts using PowerShell, PSADT (PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit), VBScript, and batch.

- Discover, gather, and document application requirements from business owners and vendors (install logic, dependencies, licensing, configurations).

- Perform application compatibility testing across Windows 10/11, multi-session AVD, and major OS/browser upgrade cycles.

- Deploy and manage applications via Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM, including detection rules, requirements, dependencies, and supersedence.

- Package and deliver applications for virtual environments: MSIX App Attach, App-V, and AVD golden image integration.

- Implement application updates and patching workflows, including vendor patch evaluation, packaging of upgrades, and rollback plans.

- Maintain the enterprise application catalog and packaging documentation: build guides, test evidence, known issues, and version history.

- Troubleshoot deployment failures using log analysis (MSI logs, Intune Management Extension logs, CMTrace) and drive issues to root cause.

- Enforce packaging standards, naming conventions,



and security requirements (code signing, least-privilege installs, removal of admin dependencies).

- Collaborate with security teams on application whitelisting/AppLocker/WDAC policies and vulnerability remediation timelines.

- Automate repetitive packaging tasks and contribute to the continuous improvement of the packaging factory/pipeline.

- Application virtualization experience: MSIX / MSIX App Attach and/or App-V sequencing for VDI/AVD environments.

Application compatibility testing and remediation experience, including shims and OS upgrade readiness.

- Expert knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI) technology: tables, properties, custom actions, transforms (MST), and patching (MSP).

- Solid experience with packaging tools such as Flexera AdminStudio/InstallShield, Advanced Installer, Master Packager, or WiX Toolset.

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) for wrapping and deployment logic.

- Hands-on experience creating and deploying Intune Win32 apps: .intunewin packaging, detection rules, assignments, and troubleshooting via IME logs.
