Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Import/Export Executive (Logistics Associate) to manage the day-to-day shipment, documentation, and vendor-coordination activities that keep Al Hassan Group's export (meat, poultry, seafood) and import (fruits) operations running smoothly. The role requires hands-on experience with export-import paperwork, shipment tracking, and coordination with couriers, transporters, and customs partners in a fast-moving, perishable-goods environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Track incoming and outgoing shipments, verify packing lists, and ensure required shipping labels and markings are correctly attached.

- Prepare, process, and maintain export-import documentation (invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, LC-related paperwork) in compliance with trade regulations.

- Coordinate directly with shipping lines, couriers, freight forwarders, and transport providers to secure competitive rates and resolve delivery issues.

- Liaise with customs house agents (CHA) and handle customs clearance formalities for both export and import consignments.

- Conduct routine stock checks, update inventory records, and ensure accurate tracking of goods across warehouses and cold storage.

- Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, finance, quality)



to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of shipments.

- Maintain organized records of shipping documents, delivery notes, and compliance paperwork for audits and reference.

- Monitor shipment timelines and proactively flag delays or discrepancies to management.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; a diploma/certification in International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain is a plus.

- 35 years of hands-on experience in import/export documentation and logistics coordination, preferably in the food, meat, seafood, or perishable goods export sector.

- Working knowledge of shipping documentation (Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, LC, packing list) and customs/export-import procedures.

- Familiarity with inventory management and digital record-keeping systems.

- Positive communication and coordination skills to liaise with vendors, transporters, and customs agents.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment handling perishable shipments.
