Roles and responsibilities of Executive - Licensing
- Customs Coordination: Work closely with Customs House Agents (CHAs), freight forwarders, and logistics teams to explicit shipments using the appropriate licenses.
- License Closure/Redemption
- Compliance Checks: Review proposed new products, suppliers, or markets to identify licensing requirements early in the supply chain process.
- Prepare and file applications for various import/export licenses, authorisations, and registrations with relevant government bodies (e.g., DGFT, Customs, BIS, FSSAI, or relevant international control bodies).
- Specialised Clearances: Secure specific permits for restricted, dual-use, hazardous, or sensitive goods.
