Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and enthusiastic School Librarian to manage and maintain our school library as a dynamic learning hub. The ideal candidate will foster a love for reading, support academic growth, and ensure that students and staff have access to a wide range of resources in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily library operations, including cataloging, issuing, and returning books.
- Maintain and update the library collection to reflect curriculum needs and student interests.
- Guide students in selecting appropriate reading materials and conducting research.
- Promote reading habits through library programs, events, and activities.
- Assist teachers in sourcing instructional materials and integrating library resources into lessons.
- Ensure proper organization, classification, and preservation of books and digital resources.
- Monitor student behavior and maintain a quiet, productive environment within the library.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Prior experience in a school or academic library setting is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.




- Familiarity with library management systems and digital resources.
- Passion for reading, education, and working with children.
