ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced L3 Backup & Storage Engineer with robust expertise in enterprise backup, storage administration and automation. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with backup technologies and scripting/automation to improve operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide L3 support for enterprise Backup & Storage infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex backup, restore, replication and storage issues
- Perform RCA and implement permanent fixes
- Plan upgrades, migrations and technology refreshes
- Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Shell or Ansible
- Build automated health checks, compliance reports and backup verification
- Integrate platforms using REST APIs
- Monitor capacity, performance and infrastructure health
- Create dashboards and automated reporting
- Collaborate with Windows, Linux, VMware, Database, Network and Security teams
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives
