Junior Full-Stack Engineer

Job Summary

This is a hands-on, build-and-learn role for someone early in their career who wants to grow fast in a real product environment. You will work across Serein's marketing site and our customer-facing learning platform - building landing pages, maintaining web properties, and contributing to a product used by 500+ organisations across 35 countries.

You don't need to know everything. You need to be hungry to learn, comfortable getting your hands dirty with unfamiliar technology, and sharp enough to pick things up quickly. We will invest in your growth if you invest in the work.

Responsibilities

Web development marketing site

- Build and maintain pages on Serein's marketing site (WordPress + Elementor), extending them with custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript where needed.

- Work with the marketing and design teams to turn mockups and Figma files into clean, responsive pages that look great on desktop and mobile.

- Help build campaign pages, landing pages, and other web experiences that are fast, polished, and on-brand.

Platform support content

- Work on Serein's customer-facing learning platform - frontend tasks, bug fixes, and small feature additions under the guidance of senior engineers.

- Collaborate with the content team to publish, structure, and improve learning content delivered through the LMS.

- Write clean, readable code and ask good questions when you're stuck.





Learning and growing

- Pick up current technologies as the work demands - we work across the stack and you will too, gradually.

- Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback.

- Grow into owning features end-to-end as your confidence and experience build.

You have

- 0-2 years of professional experience. Internship or freelance experience counts. Strong side projects can make up for less time in the industry.

- A solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - you've built things with them, not just completed tutorials.

- Hands-on experience with at least one frontend framework (React, Vue, Svelte - we don't have a strong preference).

- Some exposure to backend development - Node.js, Django, PHP, or anything similar. You don't need to be deep in it, but you've written server-side code before.

- You've touched a relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL - anything SQL). You know what a query looks like and roughly why it matters.

- Comfortable using Git, a terminal, and running code in environments that aren't your laptop.

- Clear communicator, low ego, and genuinely curious about how things work.
