Position: Junior Engineer - Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA)

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Experience: 1 to 3 Years

Qualification: Diploma in EEE (Electrical and Electronics) or Mechanical Engineering

Job Purpose:We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Engineer for Incoming Quality Assurance. You will check and test all incoming raw materials and components used to manufacture our environmental testing chambers. You will ensure that every part meets our high quality standard before it goes to the assembly line.

Key Responsibilities:1. Inspection & Testing

- Inspect incoming raw materials, electrical parts, and mechanical parts against engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Use measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and multimeters to check dimensions and electrical ratings.
- Perform visual and functional checks on parts like compressors, controllers, heaters, and sheet metal.

2. Documentation & Reports

- Maintain daily incoming inspection reports and log sheets.
- Create Material Inspection Reports (MIR) for approved and rejected materials.
- Track supplier quality performance data.

Rejection & Supplier Management

- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when materials fail to meet quality standards.
- Separate rejected materials safely so they do not mix with valuable stock.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers regarding material rejections and replacements.

4. Process Improvement

- Follow 5S and safety practices in the inspection area.
- Suggest ways to improve the incoming inspection process to save time and reduce errors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Diploma in EEE or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control (experience with panel boards, HVAC, or testing chambers is a big plus).
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to read engineering drawings, electrical circuits, and circuit diagrams.
- Tools: Hand-on experience using mechanical measuring instruments or electrical testing meters.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills and a strong eye for detail.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
