Java Engineer/ Senior Engineer

Role Purpose The Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining technology solutions that support enterprise business objectives. The role contributes to software delivery initiatives by developing high-quality code, supporting automation and CI/CD practices, troubleshooting existing systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality, and a willingness to learn modern development practices, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications and services.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
- Integrate applications and services across enterprise platforms.
- Support cloud-native and platform-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and quality assurance processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, flowcharts, and solution designs.

Required Qualifications

- 6-9 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or technology operations.
- Java application development.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS.
- CI/CD and DevOps tools including:

- Jenkins

- GitHub
- Automated deployment and build tools
- Source code management and version control practices.
- Platform and infrastructure automation.
- Workflow management tools such as:

- JIRA

- Rally
- Event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as:

- Agile software development methodologies.
