Role & responsibilities
Design Competency Requirement
Design and Development of IC Engine components
- Engine Components design experience
- 3D modelling and Drawing (component, assembly etc.) in Creo.
- DMU Packaging checks.
- TPL/BOM preparation and release in PLM.
- Benchmarking of Engine aggregate etc.
- Coordination with internal agencies like Proto planning, Testing, Vehicle Integration.
- Coordination with Suppliers.
Software Competency Creo (2D and 3D) & PLM (Teamcenter)
Development Competency
- Knowledge of different Engine Components.
- Knowledge of manufacturing Processes like Machining, Casting, Forging, Forming, and Welding.
- Knowledge of Processes like DFM / DFA / DFS and Design for Cost and Reliability.
- Knowledge of GD & T & Tolerance Stack up.
- Knowledge DFMEA, Failure Investigation & Problem solving Techniques.
