Job Summary

APM Group Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Hanwha SMT

Machine Operator to join our EMS Production Team.

The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring Hanwha SMT Pick & Place machines, supporting SMT production activities, maintaining production quality and output,

and following all required safety, ESD, and production procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor Hanwha SMT Pick & Place machines during production.

Load and verify feeders, reels, components, and PCBs according to the production setup.

Perform basic machine setup and feeder loading.

Follow approved SMT programs and production work instructions.

¢ Monitor machine operation and identify alarms, errors, and abnormalities.

¢ Perform component and PCB changeovers as required.

¢ Check component placement and identify placement-related defects.

¢ Ensure proper component loading and correct feeder placement.

¢ Monitor production output and minimize machine downtime.

¢ Report machine problems and production issues to the SMT Engineer / Production

Supervisor.

¢ Maintain daily machine and production records.

¢ Perform basic machine cleaning and support preventive maintenance activities.

¢ Follow ESD, 5S, safety, and quality procedures.

¢ Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.

¢ Ensure production targets are achieved without compromising product quality.

Required Skills

¢ Hands-on experience operating Hanwha SMT machines.





¢ Basic knowledge of SMT production processes.

¢ Knowledge of feeders, reels, PCB loading, and component placement.

¢ Ability to identify common machine alarms and operational issues.

¢ Basic knowledge of electronic components.

¢ Basic understanding of PCB assembly.

¢ Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.

¢ Good attention to detail.

¢ Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions.

¢ Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

¢ Experience with Hanwha SMT Pick & Place machines. Experience in electronics manufacturing.

¢ Experience working in an EMS / Electronics Manufacturing environment.

¢ Knowledge of Stencil Printing, SPI, AOI and Reflow processes.

¢ Basic SMT troubleshooting knowledge.

¢ Experience with SMT line changeover.

¢ Knowledge of production documentation and reporting.

Qualification

¢ ITI / Diploma in

¢ Electronics, Electrical, ECE, EEE, Instrumentation

Candidates with relevant SMT machine operating experience may also be considered.
