Accounts Executive / Accountant (GST, TDS & Compliance)

Experience Required: 4 years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (preferred)

Job Purpose To manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate GST and TDS compliance, support statutory filings and reconciliations, and maintain adherence to applicable accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain books of accounts in ERP/Tally/SAP.
- Record journal entries, vendor bills, customer invoices, and payment transactions.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

GST Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns) within due dates.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase register and identify mismatches.
- Coordinate with vendors for GST corrections and follow-up on pending reconciliations.




- Maintain GST records, working papers, and support documents for audits and assessments.

TDS Compliance
- Deduct TDS as per applicable sections of the Income Tax Act.
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
- Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS and TRACES.
- Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16A) to vendors.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, qualified tax, and other statutory dues.
- Maintain compliance calendars and track filing deadlines.
- Support internal, statutory, GST, and tax audits by providing required schedules and documents.
- Assist in responding to notices, queries, and assessments from tax authorities.

MIS & Reporting
- Prepare periodic MIS reports related to GST, TDS, vendor balances, and compliance status.
- Support the Finance Manager in preparing financial statements and audit schedules.
