Role & responsibilities

- 8+ years of professional software-engineering experience.

- Strong, hands-on TypeScript experience across frontend and backend development.

- Strong Node.js experience for backend services, APIs, integrations, and web application development.

- Strong experience with SvelteKit or a comparable modern frontend framework.

- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering full-stack web applications.

- Strong system-design skills covering API design, service boundaries, integrations, data modeling, scalability, security, and performance.

- Experience leading technical delivery for a team, squad, or major product area.

- Experience with estimation, technical planning, architecture reviews, code reviews, and engineering standards.

- Ability to identify technical risks, manage dependencies, and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience mentoring engineers and raising engineering quality across a team.

- Strong understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the technical direction for a delivery squad and guide implementation decisions.

- Lead solution design across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and data flows.





- Establish practical standards for code quality, security, testing, observability, and maintainability.

- Review designs and code and provide actionable technical guidance.

- Drive modular architecture and support the evolution of monolithic applications into independently deployable components.

- Collaborate with product, design, QA, architecture, and client engineering stakeholders.

- Track delivery progress, resolve technical blockers, and communicate risks and dependencies.

- Coach engineers through design, implementation, debugging, and production support.

- Remain hands-on with critical features and complex technical problems.

Good-to-Have Skills and Experience

- Experience with micro-frontends or modular frontend architecture.

- Experience with Angular or other legacy frontend frameworks.

- Experience with Ruby, Scala, or Go.

- Experience with GCP or comparable cloud platforms.

- Experience leading modernization or migration initiatives.

- Experience working with distributed teams or multiple engineering squads.
