Role Overview:

As a Founding Engineer Intern, you will work directly with the CTO to architect and build the core components of our platform from the ground up. This role involves full-stack development, where you will translate complex product requirements into high-quality, maintainable code. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring that our UI/UX is intuitive while the backend remains robust and scalable.

You will collaborate closely with the founding team to influence product direction and technical strategy, playing a critical role in shaping the company's long-term engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and implement scalable full-stack features using TypeScript and Node.js to enhance our core eCommerce platform functionality.
- Develop responsive and performant user interfaces with Next.js, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices and browsers.
- Design and manage efficient database schemas in MongoDB to support high-concurrency data operations and complex queries.




- Collaborate with the CTO to translate high-level product requirements into technical specifications and actionable development sprints.
- Optimize application performance and security, ensuring the platform remains resilient as the user base scales.
- Contribute to the UI/UX design process by providing technical feasibility insights and implementing design systems that improve user engagement.
- Maintain clean, well-documented codebases and participate in peer reviews to uphold high engineering standards within the startup environment.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in building full-stack applications using the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, specifically Node.js and Next.js.
- Strong understanding of database design and management using MongoDB, with an ability to write productive, scalable queries.
- Proven ability to translate design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive UI components that prioritize user experience.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment where independent problem-solving and rapid execution are essential.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with the founding team.
- Possession of 1 - 3 years of relevant professional or project-based experience in software development.
- Adaptability to work effectively in a remote, hybrid, or on-site capacity across various global locations, maintaining high productivity and alignment with team goals.
