Experience: 3-4 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
The role combines Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), management reporting, budgeting and forecasting with IFRS financial reporting and technical accounting. The ideal candidate will support senior management with financial insights while ensuring compliance with applicable IFRS requirements and maintaining high-quality financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on annual budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts (consolidated), including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business decisions.
- Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Partner with business and operational teams to understand financial drivers and improve profitability.
- Support long-range planning and strategic financial modelling.
- Review COGS and revenue recognition for the leases & upfront land sale.
- Support preparation and review of revenue recognition and COGS in line with IFRS
- Assess and document accounting treatments for complex transactions under applicable IFRS standards.
- Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting memos where required.
- Support implementation of current and amended IFRS standards.
- Review accounting estimates, provisions, accruals, impairment assessments and other significant balances.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide supporting schedules and explanations.
- Ensure appropriate accounting policies, controls and reporting procedures are maintained.
- Support group reporting and consolidation activities, where applicable.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Contribute to finance transformation, automation and process-improvement initiatives.
- Work on quarterly /monthly balance sheet review and presentations.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Qualified accountant: ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Practical FP&A; experience covering budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, balance sheet and cash-flow analysis.
- Experience working with external auditors and preparing audit support.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP, power point presentation.
