Core Technical Skills
MySQL 5.7 / 8.0: Strong expertise in InnoDB internals, indexing, query plans, and
partitioning.
SQL Programming: Advanced knowledge of DDL, DML, DCL, and TCL.
Database Objects: Proficiency in stored procedures, triggers, functions, and events.
Performance: Expert in query optimization and performance tuning.
Design: Solid understanding of schema design, normalization, and ER modeling.
Fundamentals: Solid grasp of ACID properties, isolation levels, locking, and
transactions.

Additional Technical Skills
Experience with ETL pipelines, data migration, or integration tools.
Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with High Availability (HA) setups.




Hands-on knowledge of MySQL Replication (Master-Slave, Group Replication, etc.).
Exposure to Disaster Recovery (DR) setups and failover strategies.

Soft Skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Explicit communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or
