POSITION OBJECTIVE The HR Executive will play a key role in managing end-to-end human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, payroll, and compliance, regional responsibility and regular travel within the region. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to support our retail workforce and contribute to a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, screen, and interview candidates for various retail roles (store staff, supervisors, etc.).
Coordinate job postings on job boards, social media, and other platforms. Facilitate smooth onboarding processes, including orientation and training for recent hires.
1. Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee queries, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment. Support conflict resolution and mediate workplace issues in line with company policies.
1. Compliance & Record-Keeping:
Ensure compliance with labour laws, retail industry regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, performance, and training documentation.
1. HR Operations:
Handling employee data management, HR records, and updating HR databases Processing payroll,
Liaising with other departments to coordinate HR operations and solve employee issues
Conducting performance reviews, and assisting with administrative tasks and audits
1. Employee Engagement:
Organize employee engagement activities, such as team-building events and recognition programs. Collect feedback through surveys and implement initiatives to improve workplace morale.
1. HR Reporting:
Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment progress, and employee satisfaction. Assist in developing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
QUALIFICATIONBasic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training
Graduation DegreeAdvanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training
MBA specializing in HR or a PG Diploma in HR is a plus.
EXPERI ENCE
Minimum Experience
2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in the retail or service industry
