How You’ll Help Us Connect The World As an R&D; Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and industrializing manufacturing processes for recent microwave antenna products. The role focuses on tooling development, DFM/DFA implementation, PFMEA, process documentation, and manufacturing readiness, ensuring a seamless transfer of robust and scalable processes to the NPI and production teams.

You Will Make An Impact By

- Developing and validating manufacturing processes for new microwave antenna products from prototype through production readiness.
- Designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing tooling, fixtures, gauges, and assembly aids to ensure repeatable and efficient production.
- Leading Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities during product development to optimize cost, quality, and manufacturability.
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation including process flows, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), control plans, and process specifications.
- Conducting PFMEA, risk assessments, and process capability studies to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks early in the product development cycle.
- Defining critical process parameters, acceptance criteria, and validation requirements to ensure robust product performance and quality.
- Planning and executing prototype, engineering, and pilot builds, incorporating lessons learned into final manufacturing processes.
- Collaborating with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product industrialization.
- Driving process optimization initiatives focused on yield improvement, cycle time reduction, automation opportunities,



and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
- Preparing comprehensive process transfer packages and provide technical handover to NPI / Manufacturing Engineering teams for successful production launch.

Required Qualifications For Consideration

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication / Mechanical / Electrical.
- 7+ years of experience in R&D; / Manufacturing Process Engineering.
- Expertise in manufacturing process development, industrialization, and process validation.
- Experience in tooling, fixture, and gauge design.
- Strong knowledge of DFM, DFA, PFMEA, and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in process documentation (Process Flows, SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.

- Have worked in a medium volume / mix electro-mechanical manufacturing or production environment with an emphasis on manufacturing processes.
