Roles and Responsibilities

● Lead the Email Delivery IT –Infrastructure department, managing a dynamic team of IT professionals.

● Strategic IT and Marketing/sales Integration Leadership.

● Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, emphasizing secure infrastructure, operational efficiency, and marketing outreach for Business development supported lead generation.

● Drive integration between IT and email campaign platforms, ensuring scalability and effectiveness in cold outreach efforts.

● Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and deploy infrastructure supporting high-volume, personalized email campaigns.

● Managing end-to-end campaigns on ESPs, Gmail, and Outlook, addressing spam issues, authentication checks, IP and domain reputation, data validation, complaint handling, blacklist monitoring, Domain & IP warmup, delivery issues and CRM management.

● Checking for DNS records, IP/Domain blacklist using MXtool

● Delisting the blacklisted IP/Domain by raising a request to relevant blacklist management.

● Checking a Sender Score of IPs using Senderscore.com (from Return Path by Validity).

● Tracking the Emails sent, bounces, and complaints using Amazon SES (MTA).





● Tracking the inbox placement of all major email domains using the Emailanalyst.com tool.

● Closely monitoring the performance and inbox placement of the campaigns.

● Cold Email and Campaign Infrastructure Management

● Build, deploy, and manage infrastructure for cold email campaigns, ensuring high deliverability and compliance with email regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

● Oversee technical configurations such as domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to enhance email credibility and avoid spam traps.

● Monitor performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates) and ensure optimal system functionality for large-scale email outreach.

● Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, Email Deliverability, Campaign Management, IP & Domain Reputation, Blacklist Management, MTA logs, and ISP/domain-specific delivery policies.

● Expertise in Marketing platforms like Instantly, seamless, Send Grid, Mail chimp—Mandrill, Active Campaign, Amazon SES, WebEngage, CleverTap, Sparkpost, Cheetah Experian, Harmony, Zeta Mail, Send curve, True Push, Mail-up, Mailify, Mailer Lite, PostMark, Campaign Monitor, Robly, iContact, Mailjet, Elasticmail, SendX, Beehiiv, etc.

● Knowledgeable on B2B and B2C email delivery, including IP addresses, DNS, SMTP, authentication technologies, antispam laws, and third-party delivery tools, such as 250ok, Litmus, Return Path, KickBox, Postmastery, EDS, Tableau, Amplitude, etc.

Campaign Performance Ownership

● Own metrics: Open rates, Reply rates, Positive response rates, Meetings booked, Cost per lead (CPL),

Define benchmarks

· 30-40% open rates (cold optimized)

· 5–15% reply rates (hyper-personalized campaigns)

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience : 8+ years in:

· Email deliverability

· Growth marketing / outbound systems

· Marketing automation at scale

Must-Have Skills

· Deep understanding of: SMTP, DNS, IP reputation Spam filters (Gmail, Outlook)

Experience with

· Cold email platforms

· CRM & campaign tools

· Strong analytical + systems thinking

· SaaS / B2B growth background
