Electrical Sales Engineer – Industrial Motors

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Sales Engineer to drive the sales and business development of Industrial Electric Motors and MRO products across Eastern India.

This is a field-oriented B2B sales role and is best suited for a candidate who already understands industrial customers, has established relationships in the industry, and can independently generate and convert business.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and grow sales of industrial electric motors and MRO products.
- Identify recent customers, enquiries, projects and replacement opportunities.
- Maintain and develop relationships with Purchase, Maintenance, Electrical, Engineering and Projects teams.
- Regularly visit industrial plants, OEMs, EPC companies, contractors and other B2B customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable motor/product solutions.
- Generate enquiries, prepare quotations and drive enquiries through to order conversion.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, order finalisation and payment/dispatch coordination.
- Develop new accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify upcoming projects and recurring MRO requirements.




- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
- Track market activity, competitor offerings, pricing and customer requirements.

What We Are Looking For
- 2–5 years of proven experience in industrial/technical sales.
- Strong hands-on experience in Industrial Motors and/or MRO products is highly preferred.
- Existing network of industrial customers is a major requirement.
- Candidates with relationships across Power, Steel, Cement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Infrastructure and other industrial sectors will be preferred.
- Electrical Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech qualification.
- Good understanding of electric motors, applications and basic technical specifications.
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert enquiries into orders.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Eastern India.
- Self-driven, target-oriented and capable of independently managing the sales cycle.

Pay: ₹10,533.43 - ₹45,956.27 per month
