Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at PPStack.

The Video

Editor will transform raw footage into polished, engaging content for courses, social media, marketing campaigns, and branded storytelling across digital platforms. Daily tasks include editing video content, adding motion graphics and visual effects, performing basic color correction, syncing audio, and ensuring brand-aligned visual consistency. The role also involves collaborating with instructional designers, content creators, and marketing teams to develop video concepts, optimize formats for different channels, and deliver projects on time.

Editor will maintain organized asset libraries, adhere to project workflows,



and continuously improve editing quality based on feedback and performance data.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, audio syncing, and applying transitions for long- and short-form content.
- Candidates should possess Video Production skills, such as understanding storyboarding, framing, basic sound design, and workflow management for digital content.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills, including basic color correction, exposure adjustment, and style matching across scenes.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills for creating intros, lower thirds, titles, and straightforward animated elements that enhance learner engagement.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects, Canva or equivalent).
- Strong visual storytelling ability and attention to detail, with an understanding of digital and social media video formats and best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced EdTech setting.
- Relevant experience in educational content, e-learning, or digital media production is preferred; a degree or certification in Film, Media, Design, or a related field is an advantage.
