E-COMMERCE MANAGER

Company: Florida Dress Your Home

Position: E-Commerce Manager

Location: Patel Nagar, New Delhi

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 3–6 years in E-Commerce Management / Marketplace Management / D2C / Online Sales

Salary: 40,000 – 60,000 per month, depending on experience and capability

Travel: As required for business/warehouse coordination

ABOUT THE ROLE

Florida Dress Your Home is looking for a hands-on and commercially driven E-Commerce Manager who will take complete ownership of the company's online business and manage the entire E-Commerce Department.

The role will be responsible for E-Commerce Sales & Revenue, Marketplace Management, Inventory & Warehouse Coordination, Online Marketing, Product Catalogue, Creative Content, Claims & Reconciliation, Market Analysis, Expense Monitoring, MIS Reporting and Team Management.

The candidate should be equally comfortable with numbers, marketplaces, operations, marketing creatives and team leadership and should have a strong understanding of how online businesses generate revenue and maintain profitability.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. E-Commerce Sales & Revenue Management

- Take complete ownership of E-Commerce sales, revenue and business growth across all online channels.
- Set monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets for the E-Commerce Department.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and improve online revenue.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance against targets.
- Analyse GMV, net sales, orders, AOV, conversion rate, margins and profitability.
- Identify underperforming channels and SKUs and implement corrective actions.
- Drive growth through existing marketplaces as well as identify new online business opportunities.

2. Marketplace Management

- Manage day-to-day operations across relevant marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Pepperfry, D2C Website and other online channels, as applicable.
- Ensure products are correctly listed with accurate SKU, title, description, images, specifications, pricing and inventory.
- Monitor marketplace performance, rankings, product visibility and customer ratings.
- Coordinate with marketplace account managers/support teams for business and operational issues.
- Ensure marketplace policies, SLA requirements and operational timelines are followed.
- Identify opportunities for improving product visibility, sales and marketplace performance.

3. Pricing, Promotions & Online Growth

- Monitor competitor pricing, offers, discounts and product positioning.
- Recommend appropriate pricing, promotional and discount strategies.
- Plan and execute marketplace promotions and sales campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal/digital marketing teams for online advertising and promotional activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and evaluate ROAS, advertising spend and sales contribution.




- Ensure promotions contribute to profitable revenue growth rather than only increasing sales volume.

4. Product Catalogue & Creative Content

- Manage and maintain the complete online product catalogue.
- Ensure all product information, images, specifications and pricing are accurate and updated.
- Coordinate the launch of new products across online platforms.
- Create and design social media/marketplace posts, promotional creatives, banners and product communication materials as required.
- Develop creative concepts for product launches, seasonal campaigns, offers and online promotions.
- Ensure all creatives maintain consistency with the Florida Dress Your Home brand identity.
- Analyse the performance of creatives and improve content based on customer response and sales data.

5. Market Analysis & Business Intelligence

- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis across e-commerce platforms.
- Track competitor products, pricing, discounts, reviews, ratings, visibility and promotional strategies.
- Identify market trends, customer preferences, fast-moving categories and emerging opportunities.
- Analyse product-wise and marketplace-wise performance.
- Provide management with actionable recommendations for product selection, pricing, promotions and sales growth.
- Identify slow-moving products and develop strategies to improve their movement.

6. Inventory, Warehouse & Order Management

- Coordinate closely with the Warehouse Team to ensure accurate inventory availability across online channels.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of rapid-moving SKUs.
- Prevent stock-outs, overselling and inventory mismatches.
- Ensure proper coordination between marketplace inventory and physical warehouse stock.
- Monitor order processing, packing, dispatch, cancellations, returns and replacements.
- Establish proper processes to reduce wrong shipments, damages, delays and operational errors.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure marketplace orders are dispatched within the required timelines.

7. E-Commerce Claims, Returns & RECO / Reconciliation

- Have a strong understanding of E-Commerce reconciliation (RECO) and marketplace claims processes.
- Monitor claims raised with marketplaces for returns, damages, shortages, wrong products, lost shipments, customer returns and other deductions.
- Track marketplace settlements and identify discrepancies between expected and received amounts.




- Understand when and how to raise/follow up on claims with respective e-commerce platforms.
- Maintain proper records of claims, supporting documents, claim status and recovery amounts.
- Follow up with marketplace platforms within the applicable claim timelines to ensure recoveries are not missed.
- Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance Team for reconciliation of marketplace payments, deductions, commissions, returns, claims and recoveries.
- Identify recurring financial discrepancies and implement processes to reduce revenue leakage.
- Ensure all eligible claims are followed up and closed within defined timelines.

8. MIS, Revenue & Expense Reporting Prepare and present regular management reports covering:

- Sales Report
- Revenue Report
- Marketplace-wise Performance
- SKU-wise Sales
- Profitability / Margin Analysis
- Expense Report
- Advertising & Promotion Expense
- Marketplace Fees & Commissions
- Returns & Cancellation Report
- Claims & Recovery Report
- Inventory Report
- Market & Competitor Analysis
- Target vs Achievement Report

The candidate will be responsible for providing management with accurate, timely and actionable MIS reports. 9. E-Commerce Expense & Profitability Management

- Monitor all E-Commerce-related expenses and identify areas of unnecessary expenditure.
- Track marketplace commissions, logistics costs, advertising expenditure, promotional discounts, returns and other operational costs.
- Analyse sales versus total E-Commerce expenses.
- Monitor contribution margins and profitability by marketplace/SKU wherever data is available.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve overall E-Commerce profitability.

10. Team & Department Management

- Take complete responsibility for managing the E-Commerce Department.
- Define roles, responsibilities and KRAs for E-Commerce team members.
- Set monthly and quarterly targets for the E-Commerce Team.
- Monitor individual and departmental performance against targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance/coaching to team members.
- Manage and coordinate the E-Commerce Office Team and Warehouse Team involved in online operations.
- Establish proper workflows between E-Commerce, Warehouse, Accounts and other internal departments.
- Ensure accountability, discipline and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Identify manpower requirements and recommend additional resources where required.

11. Process & Operational Control

- Develop SOPs for order processing, inventory management, returns, claims, reconciliation, dispatch, marketplace management and reporting.
- Establish clear responsibility and escalation processes within the department.
- Regularly review operational gaps and implement improvements.
- Ensure all E-Commerce activities are properly documented and measurable.
- Reduce operational errors, revenue leakage and unnecessary delays.
