Role Overview

We are looking for a professional to join the Deal Origination & Investment Syndication team. The role will focus on originating investment opportunities, building relationships with promoters and companies, and syndicating transactions with VC funds, family offices, AIFs, PE funds and other investors .

The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential investment opportunities, understanding the business and funding requirement, evaluating the opportunity from an investor perspective, and working with relevant investors to structure and close transactions.

The role will involve managing the opportunity through the deal lifecycle — from origination and initial evaluation to investor outreach, syndication, negotiations and closure .

Key Responsibilities

- Originate and identify investment opportunities across growth-stage and established businesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters, founders, CXOs, CFOs and business owners to generate investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with VC funds, family offices, AIFs, PE funds, strategic investors and other investment institutions .
- Understand the company's business, growth plans, capital requirement and investment proposition.
- Evaluate potential opportunities from an investment and commercial perspective and assess their suitability for relevant investors.
- Identify and map the right investors based on the sector, stage, ticket size and investment mandate.
- Lead investor outreach and syndication for identified opportunities.
- Prepare and coordinate pitch decks, teasers, investment notes, financial information and other transaction materials .




- Coordinate discussions between promoters/companies and prospective investors.
- Manage the deal pipeline and drive opportunities from initial origination through investor engagement, due diligence, negotiations and transaction closure .
- Support transaction structuring and negotiations between the company/promoter and investors.
- Build a strong network across the VC, PE, AIF, family office and promoter ecosystem to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Track market activity and identify emerging companies, sectors and investment opportunities, particularly across real estate, urban assets and other high-growth sectors .

Candidate Profile
- 4–10 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, AIF, Family Office, M&A;, Equity Fundraising, Investment Advisory or Deal Origination .
- Strong experience in investment origination, business development and relationship management .
- Proven ability to source and develop investment opportunities and take them through the transaction lifecycle.
- Robust network among VCs, family offices, AIFs, PE funds, promoters, founders and investors .
- Positive understanding of equity investments, fundraising, investment structures and transaction processes .
- Experience in investor syndication / fundraising and managing investor conversations will be preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand businesses and present investment opportunities effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Candidates with experience in investment banking, equity fundraising, VC/PE, family offices, AIFs or investment advisory would be particularly relevant.
- MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
