Cyber Security Engineer - L1 Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh Experience: 1-3 Years Employment Type: Full time About the Role We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Engineer - L1 to join our cybersecurity team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, identifying potential threats, handling initial-level security incidents, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of security solutions.

Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts, logs, and events using SIEM and security monitoring tools.

- Perform initial analysis and classification of security incidents.

- Identify and escalate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

- Monitor and respond to alerts from firewalls, endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, and other security tools.

- Perform basic troubleshooting of network and security-related issues.

- Assist in incident response, investigation, and documentation.





- Analyze logs and identify suspicious activities or security anomalies.

- Support vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.

- Maintain security incident reports, daily monitoring reports, and documentation.

- Follow defined security policies, procedures, and escalation processes.

- Coordinate with L2/L3 security teams for complex incidents.

- Stay updated with common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
