About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Writer who can develop original and engaging stories, articles, magazine content, concepts, and other written material based on assigned topics.

This is an opportunity for a student or young writer to gain practical experience in publishing, storytelling, creative writing, magazines, and content development.

Key Responsibilities

- Write original stories, articles, creative pieces, and other content based on assigned topics.
- Develop interesting characters, ideas, concepts, narratives, and storylines.
- Research topics when required and turn information into engaging content.
- Contribute ideas for books, magazines, and future publishing projects.
- Edit and improve your own work before submission.
- Follow assigned briefs, editorial guidelines, and deadlines.
- Work with editors and other members of the creative team.
- Maintain originality and avoid plagiarism.
- Use AI only as a supporting tool where permitted.
- Accept feedback and revise content when required.
- Create content with both creative quality and audience/market appeal in mind.

RequirementsEducation
- Minimum 12th standard / Higher Secondary pass.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in any stream.
- Students from literature, arts, media, communication, business, science, technology, or other backgrounds are welcome.

Age
- Applicants must be 18–20 years old at the time of application.

Language
- English — compulsory.
- Hindi is an advantage.
- Knowledge of additional Indian, regional, or international languages is an advantage.

Technical Requirements
- Must have access to a personal laptop or computer.




- Comfortable using basic computer applications, online communication tools, document editors (like words, docs), and internet , research and AI use.

Selection ProcessRound 1 —
- Creative Writing Assessment

Shortlisted applicants will be given a 600–2,000 word writing test.

The assessment will evaluate

- Creative thinking and imagination.
- Quality of writing.
- Originality.
- Storytelling ability.
- Ability to understand and follow a topic or brief.
- Audience and market-oriented thinking.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively.
- Appropriate use of language and structure.

The writing assessment is intended to understand the candidate's creative potential and writing ability. Round 2 —

- Resume/CV-Based Interview

Candidates who successfully complete the first round may be invited for an interview.

The interview will primarily be based on the candidate's:

- Resume/CV.
- Educational background.
- Skills and interests.
- Writing experience or portfolio.
- Creative interests.
- Understanding of publishing and content.
- Performance in the first-round writing assessment.

Resume/CV Information Applicants should provide an updated CV/resume containing relevant information such as:

- Full name.
- Contact information.
- Educational qualifications.
- Current Bachelor's degree and institution.
- Skills.
- Writing experience, if any.
- Portfolio or previous work, if available.
- Languages known.
- Relevant achievements or interests.

Date of Birth: Applicants may be asked to provide their date of birth during the recruitment/verification process to confirm eligibility for the specified age requirement.

Compensation

₹1,000–₹6,000 per month, depending on responsibilities, quality of work, workload, consistency, and contribution.

The exact compensation and working arrangement will be discussed during the selection process.
