URGENT HIRING - CONSULTANT GASTROENTEROLOGIST

Location: Cantonment, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh

POSITION

Consultant Gastroenterologist

QUALIFICATION

- DM Gastroenterology

OR
- DrNB Gastroenterology
- Valid NMC / Uttar Pradesh Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

- Experienced candidates preferred
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience in Gastroenterology and therapeutic procedures will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct Gastroenterology OPD consultations and manage IPD patients
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and biliary disorders
- Manage conditions including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis and fatty liver disease
- Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal bleeding and other gastroenterological emergencies
- Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures such as Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy as per expertise
- Perform therapeutic endoscopic procedures as per expertise and hospital privileges
- Manage patients with chronic liver disease and its complications
- Coordinate with surgeons, intensivists, physicians, radiologists and other specialists
- Provide appropriate pre-procedure and post-procedure care
- Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment, diet,



lifestyle modification and follow-up
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, procedure notes and discharge summaries
- Follow NABH, NMC, infection-control and patient-safety protocols

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Strong clinical expertise in Gastroenterology
- Positive endoscopy and therapeutic procedure skills
- Strong knowledge of hepatology and gastrointestinal emergencies
- Excellent clinical decision-making abilities
- Good patient counselling and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
