The organisation is expanding its footprint and strengthening digital capabilities to support scalable, patient-centric healthcare delivery.
Position Overview The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for defining and executing Maxivision's enterprise technology strategy across its hospital and vision-centre network.
The CTO will lead digital transformation, healthcare IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, data and analytics, technology governance and innovation. The role will ensure that technology becomes a strategic enabler of clinical excellence, patient experience, operational efficiency, business growth and scalable healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise technology roadmap aligned with Maxivision's business and clinical strategy.
- Lead technology transformation across hospitals, vision centres and corporate functions.
- Establish a scalable, secure and future-ready technology architecture.
- Act as a strategic technology advisor to the CEO, board and senior leadership team.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology organisation.
2. Healthcare IT & Digital Transformation
- Drive transformation of HIS/EMR and other clinical and hospital information systems.
- Lead integration of clinical, operational, financial, HR, CRM and patient-engagement platforms.
- Improve digital patient journeys including appointments, registration, diagnostics, surgery workflows, billing, communication and follow-up.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI, analytics and digital health solutions.
- Enable technology solutions that improve clinical outcomes and operational productivity.
3. IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Architecture
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints, Wi-Fi and data centres.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability and business continuity across the hospital network.
- Establish robust disaster recovery, backup and business continuity frameworks.
- Drive cloud adoption and infrastructure modernisation where appropriate.
4. Cybersecurity, Privacy & IT Governance
- Establish and continuously strengthen the organisation's cybersecurity strategy.
- Protect patient, clinical, financial and employee data.
- Implement identity and access management, endpoint security, network security, vulnerability management and security monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
- Establish enterprise IT governance, policies, standards,
risk management and technology controls.
5. Data, Analytics & AI
- Develop an enterprise data strategy and reliable management-information framework.
- Enable real-time dashboards and analytics for clinical, operational and business decision-making.
- Promote responsible use of AI and automation in areas such as patient engagement, diagnostics support, workflow optimisation and administrative processes.
- Establish robust data governance, quality, security and ownership frameworks.
6. Application & Vendor Management
- Provide strategic oversight of HIS/EMR, ERP, CRM, HRMS, payroll and other enterprise applications.
- Ensure successful technology implementation, integration, upgrades and adoption.
- Establish strong vendor governance, SLA management and commercial controls.
- Evaluate technology partners and emerging healthcare technologies.
7. Patient Experience & Clinical Innovation
- Partner with clinicians and hospital operations teams to identify technology opportunities that improve patient care.
- Enable seamless digital experiences across the patient lifecycle.
- Support integration of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and clinical technologies with hospital systems wherever feasible.
- Promote innovation while ensuring patient safety, data security and clinical usability.
8. Business Growth & Scalability
- Design technology platforms capable of supporting rapid geographic and operational expansion.
- Ensure recent hospitals, centres and acquisitions can be integrated efficiently into the technology ecosystem.
- Develop standardised technology architectures and operating models across locations.
