Hirely is recruiting on behalf of a trusted hiring partner for a remote Character Animation & Hand Landmark Annotation Expert opportunity. You'll contribute to an advanced AI training project by accurately identifying and annotating hand and finger landmarks across image and video data.

This role is particularly suited to professionals with backgrounds in animation, VFX, computer vision, anatomy, 3D, image/video annotation, or visual quality assurance .

What You'll Do:

- Annotate hand and finger landmarks/keypoints using MediaPipe-style hand topology.
- Identify anatomical landmarks including the wrist, MCP, PIP, DIP, fingertips, and thumb joints .
- Precisely position landmarks according to project guidelines and required accuracy thresholds.
- Analyze challenging images and video frames, including partially occluded hands and complex poses .
- Interpret different hand orientations, perspectives, and interactions with objects.
- Review annotations for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project protocols.
- Identify annotation errors and make targeted corrections.
- Apply detailed quality standards consistently across large volumes of visual data.

What We're Looking For:

- Experience in character animation, 3D animation, VFX, computer vision, image/video annotation, or visual QA .




- Strong understanding of hand anatomy and finger/joint structures.
- Excellent visual reasoning and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately analyze images and video frames.
- Strong ability to follow detailed annotation protocols and guidelines.
- Good written communication skills.
- Previous experience with MediaPipe-style landmark annotation or similar keypoint annotation is a solid advantage.
- AI/ML experience is helpful but not required .

Compensation:

- $15-$80/hour
- Remote contractor opportunity
- Compensation may vary based on experience, expertise, and project assignment.
