Experience: 1–5 years in Hospital Billing / CGHS / ECHS /Railway

Qualification: Graduate preferred, preferably B.Com

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CGHS / ECHS Billing Executive to manage billing, documentation and claim-processing activities for CGHS and ECHS beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle CGHS and ECHS IPD/OPD billing as per applicable package rates and guidelines.
- Prepare, verify and submit claims with all required supporting documents.
- Check patient eligibility, referral/authorization, treatment details and approved packages.
- Verify tariffs, procedures, investigations, medicines, implants and consumables before final billing.
- Ensure complete and accurate claim files, including admission/discharge documents, investigation reports and bills.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, medical records, pharmacy, front office and accounts departments for required documentation.
- Follow up on pending claims, queries, deficiencies, rejections and resubmissions.
- Maintain records of submitted, approved,



pending and rejected claims.
- Prepare daily/monthly MIS reports for billing and outstanding claims.
- Coordinate with concerned CGHS/ECHS authorities/BPA/claim-processing agencies as applicable.
- Ensure billing is completed within prescribed timelines and according to applicable government guidelines.
- Assist during internal and external audits and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of CGHS/ECHS hospital billing and claim procedures.
- Knowledge of hospital billing software and MS Excel.
- Strong documentation and reconciliation skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle claim discrepancies and follow-ups independently.

Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience in CGHS, ECHS, TPA, PSU, corporate or hospital billing will be preferred.
