Skill set:

Technical Skills
Knowledge of Analog and IP CCTV Systems.
Hands-on experience with DVR, NVR, PTZ Cameras, and Video Management Software.
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Switching).
Understanding of structured cabling standards.
Familiarity with CCTV brands such as Vantage, Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Honeywell, Bosch, etc.

Soft Skills
Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
Ability to work independently and in field settings.
Willingness to travel within assigned locations.

Profile:

Installation & Commissioning
Installation, configuration, and commissioning of CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment.
Cable laying, termination, and testing of Cat6, Fiber, and Power Cables.




Integration of cameras with networking infrastructure.
Basic configuration of switches, routers, and IP-based surveillance systems.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in cameras, DVRs, NVRs, storage devices, and network equipment.
Diagnosing faults and replacing defective components.
Ensuring maximum uptime of surveillance systems.

Documentation & Reporting
Maintaining installation and maintenance records.
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly service reports.
Updating inventory and spare parts consumption records.
Escalating critical issues to senior engineers and management.
