Job Description – Vendor Development Engineer

Department: Purchase / Supply Chain
Location: Shapar (Veraval), Rajkot, Gujarat
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and develop recent vendors for raw materials, components, and services.
Coordinate with existing vendors for quality, cost, delivery, and capacity requirements.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead time, and commercial conditions.
Conduct vendor visits, audits, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams for vendor development.
Monitor vendor performance and resolve quality, delivery, and supply issues.
Maintain approved vendor lists, vendor records, quotations, and development reports.
Support cost reduction,



alternate vendor development, and localization initiatives.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering discipline.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
