Section Head

Job description:
Lead and supervise all fire and safety activities for the coal-based thermal power plant project.
Monitor EPC contractor compliance with HSE plans, statutory requirements, fire-safety standards and project procedures.
Review risk assessments, method statements, emergency response plans and safety procedures.
Conduct periodic HSE inspections, audits and fire-risk assessments and ensure closure of observations.
Monitor fire protection systems, firefighting facilities, emergency preparedness and evacuation arrangements.
Ensure effective implementation of PTW, hot-work, confined-space, work-at-height and other critical safety controls.
Lead incident/near-miss investigations and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, emergency drills and HSE awareness programmes.
Review HSE performance,



prepare reports and advise PMC management on safety risks and improvement measures.

Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, Bihar - Pirpainti TPP (3 × 800 MW)
Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh - Anuppur TPP (3 × 800 MW)
Korba, Chhattisgarh - Korba Phase III TPP (2 × 800 MW)
Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh - Mirzapur TPP (2 × 800 MW)
Baran, Rajasthan - Kawai Phase II (2 × 800 MW)
Salkocha, Dhubri, Assam - Assam TPP (4 × 800 MW)
Raipur, Chhattisgarh - Raipur Phase III (2 × 800 MW)
Raigarh, Chhattisgarh - Raigarh Phase III (2 × 800 MW)
