Site Engineer

Job description:
Monitor and supervise fire and safety management activities at the coal-based thermal power plant site.
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations, fire safety standards, project specifications and approved procedures.
Review and monitor contractor HSE plans, method statements, risk assessments and emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular site safety inspections, fire-risk assessments and audits, and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor fire protection systems, firefighting equipment, emergency exits, access routes and fire-water arrangements.
Ensure implementation of permit-to-work, hot-work, work-at-height, confined-space and other critical safety controls.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire drills, toolbox talks and safety awareness programmes.




Investigate incidents/near misses and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, Bihar - Pirpainti TPP (3 × 800 MW)
Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh - Anuppur TPP (3 × 800 MW)
Korba, Chhattisgarh - Korba Phase III TPP (2 × 800 MW)
Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh - Mirzapur TPP (2 × 800 MW)
Baran, Rajasthan - Kawai Phase II (2 × 800 MW)
Salkocha, Dhubri, Assam - Assam TPP (4 × 800 MW)
Raipur, Chhattisgarh - Raipur Phase III (2 × 800 MW)
Raigarh, Chhattisgarh - Raigarh Phase III (2 × 800 MW)
