Key Job Responsibilities

A. Territory Mapping and Market Development

- Prepare and continuously update a territory-wise retailer universe covering jewellery retailers, chain stores, premium counters, prospects, active retailers, dormant accounts, and competitor-linked outlets.
- Segment retailers by business potential, product category, buying capacity, credit profile, location, relationship stage, and conversion priority; maintain a focused Top-50 / priority-retailer list.
- Identify white-space markets, new clusters, exhibitions, associations, and referral opportunities; recommend territory-expansion actions based on data and field insights.
- Monitor competitor products, designs, pricing, schemes, service standards, market movement, and retailer feedback, and submit actionable intelligence to management.

B. Journey Planning, Daily Visits and Field Productivity

- Prepare a monthly Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) and detailed sales-trip plan for approval, with route, retailer list, objectives, expected business, stock requirement, travel, and estimated expenses.
- Conduct productive retailer visits every working day as per the approved plan and management-defined norms; avoid unplanned route deviations unless approved or supported by a valid business reason.
- Define an objective for every visit—new introduction, collection presentation, order closure, customized order discussion, payment follow-up, service resolution, or relationship development—and record the outcome and next action.
- Ensure effective use of field time, route optimization, repeat-visit discipline, and timely follow-up of all commitments made to retailers. Confidential - Internal HR Document

C. Sales Generation and Target Achievement

- Present RDC’s company profile, product range, catalogues, commercial terms, brand proposition, and recent collections in a skilled and persuasive manner.
- Generate orders from new and existing retailers, drive repeat business, improve retailer activation, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for sales, gross margin, active retailers, new conversions,

and collections.
- Understand retailer requirements relating to design, price point, metal/diamond specifications, quantity, delivery timeline, and market preference; recommend suitable products without making unauthorized commitments.
- Negotiate within approved commercial policies. Any exception relating to price, discount, credit, return, exchange, scheme, or delivery commitment must receive prior written approval.
- Develop dormant and low-performing accounts through structured follow-ups, suitable assortment planning, and relationship-building activities.

D. Physical Stock Demonstration and Security

- Assess demonstration requirements before each sales trip and coordinate in advance with the authorized Logistics / Stock person for selection, documentation, packing, custody, movement, and return of physical stock.
- Verify stock item-wise against the approved stock memo / issue document before accepting custody. Do not carry, transfer, leave, or demonstrate any item without proper authorization and record.
- Handle all physical stock with exceptional care and maintain continuous personal supervision. Follow company security protocols for travel, safe storage, retailer-premises access, discreet movement, and emergency escalation.
- Demonstrate stock only at the approved retailer’s premises and in the presence of authorized persons. Prevent unauthorized photography, handling, substitution, removal, or access by third parties.
- Count and verify every item before and after each demonstration jointly with the concerned retailer/authorized person wherever required; immediately report any mismatch, damage, security concern, or unusual incident.
- Return all stock, boxes, tags, certificates, and related documents to the authorized person within the prescribed timeline and obtain formal acknowledgement. No stock may be kept overnight or handed to another person without written approval.

E. Lystloc and Daily Sales Reporting

- Use the Lystloc application throughout every field-working day in accordance with company policy, including timely attendance, check-in/check-out, GPS/location access, visit start/end, route, retailer details, notes, and supporting evidence where required.
- Update each retailer visit in Lystloc on a real-time basis. Backdated, incomplete, proxy, or inaccurate entries are not acceptable and may be treated as attendance/reporting non-compliance.
- Submit the Daily Sales Report (DSR) within the prescribed timeline, covering planned vs. actual visits, persons met, discussions, products shown, order value, collection/payment status, opportunities, objections, competitor feedback,

and next follow-up date.
- Maintain accurate retailer master data, lead status, opportunity pipeline, order tracker, customized-order tracker, collection follow-ups, and all management-prescribed sales MIS. Confidential - Internal HR Document
- Participate in weekly/monthly sales reviews with reliable data and a clear corrective plan for target gaps, delayed orders, inactive retailers, and overdue follow-ups.

F. Retailer Onboarding and Relationship Management

- Complete retailer onboarding only after required KYC, commercial, credit, tax, bank, and management approvals are obtained; ensure no business begins on incomplete or unverified documentation.
- Build professional, long-term relationships with retailer owners, purchase teams, sales counters, and key decision-makers while maintaining appropriate business boundaries.
- Respond promptly to retailer queries and complaints; coordinate internally for resolution and close the communication loop with the retailer.
- Maintain confidentiality of RDC designs, pricing, retailer information, commercial terms, internal reports, stock movement, and all proprietary business information.

G. Order, Logistics, Accounts and Collection Coordination

- Capture every order accurately, including item/design reference, specifications, size, quantity, price, tax, delivery location, required date, customization, and approval conditions; obtain retailer confirmation wherever prescribed.
- Coordinate with Sales Support, Operations, Production, Logistics, and Accounts for order validation, stock availability, dispatch, delivery, invoicing, payment realization, returns, repairs, and service matters.
- Track each order from confirmation to delivery and proactively communicate genuine changes or delays through authorized channels.
- Follow up for payments and outstanding dues as per agreed terms. Do not commit credit, accept unofficial settlement, or collect cash/valuable instruments unless specifically authorized and receipted under company procedure.
- Ensure retailer acknowledgements, proof of delivery, sales returns, stock returns, and discrepancy records are complete and submitted promptly.

- Comply with company policies, approved tour plans, expense rules, attendance requirements, Lystloc usage, information-security controls, stock-handling SOPs, and management instructions.
- Safeguard company assets, samples, catalogues, devices, SIM cards, documents, retailer data, and credentials entrusted to the role.
- Maintain honesty, professional grooming, punctuality, respectful communication, and conduct suitable for representing a premium jewellery brand.
- Immediately escalate suspected fraud, theft, stock mismatch, unsafe travel, retailer-credit risk, policy breach, reputational concern, or conflict of interest.
- Do not make false claims, accept unauthorized benefits, share confidential information, manipulate field records, or act beyond delegated authority.
